LA Metro Movement is an animated map of LA's Metro Rapid buses. The map shows the routes of LA's Rapid jitney lines alongside the recorded locations of the city's buses existence animated equally they carry passengers across the city.
I don't know anything near the creation of this map then I'm guessing that the map is using the place information from i or 2 hours out of a unmarried day. If yous follow a unmarried animated point on the map it doesn't look to move really far inwards each stride of the animation. So unless it takes 24 hours to cross LA yesteryear jitney this map is providing a snapshot inwards fourth dimension of the city's jitney network inwards action.
It's even then a swell mapped visualization of transit information too a swell demo of CartoDB's Torque library inwards action.
