Oliver O'Brien from UCL CASA has used information from a Transport for London traffic survey to practise a map visualizing the traffic menses on London's fundamental carry corridors.
The London Cycling Census Map allows users to compare traffic menses past times vehicle type on London roads at unlike times of the day. The map reveals roughly interesting patterns inwards London's traffic, including which roads are nearly pop amongst cyclists.
When crossing the river cyclists tend to avoid Tower Bridge too Southwark Bridge. London Bridge, Blackfriars too Waterloo Bridge are the cyclists preferred routes for crossing the river. When travelling east/west cyclists appear to prefer Old Street - Theobold's Road rather than the many other alternatives.
The map too reveals roughly interesting patterns inwards the traffic of other vehicle types. It seems to confirm, for example, that cab drivers inwards London actually don't larn S of the river really often.
