Actually ignore my 1865 map. What I actually desire to verbalise most is a groovy novel repository for historical map borders, called Thenmap. Thenmap is an API as well as JavaScript library that allows y'all to practise maps amongst historical map borders.
The Thenmap API currently has map information for:
To practise my 1865 map of the USA I exactly used the API to select handgrip of the GeoJSON information for U.S. States inwards 1865. I hence imported the information into Mapbox Studio as well as styled the map using role of Mapbox's Vintage map style.
H5N1 actually groovy mapping projection would last to practise a timeline map showing the evolution of U.S. States through history. Thenmap has all the information if y'all desire to construct that map!
