The Icelandic collective Borgarmynd has created some beautiful hand-drawn maps. Their Reykjavik Center Map is i of my favorite e'er online interactive maps.
The Reykjavik Center Map is a hand-drawn watercolor map of the Icelandic capital. The map is made upwardly of 186 A3 assort watercolor sheets, which took a squad of architects together with designers 2 years to complete. To practise the watercolors Borgarmynd hired a plane to wing over Reykjavik to capture photographs of virtually every household inwards the urban substance from the same angle.
